| | | Rt/* Vengeful Healer AB | Tue Feb 26, 2008 12:18 pm by Yuki Shio | Ok, so I decided it'd be like, time I'd post a build.
This is one of my favorite builds, I only use it in AB. There is no resurrection skill in it, because that's really unnecessary.
I use max armor with a heralds insignia.
Attributes:
12 + 1 + 3 Restoration magic
12 Spawning Power.
For this build (and most Rt builds) it doesn't matter what kind of weapon you are using.
Skills:
Generous Was Tsungrai
Soothing Memories
Mend Body and Soul
Spirit Transfer
Vengeful Was Khanhei [E]
Resilient Weapon
Vengeful Weapon
Life
It works pretty simple:
When you capped the first shrine and are about to encouter some Kurzicks, use Generous Was Tsungrai. This will give your a lot of extra maximum health. Cast Life before the fighting begins. Heal while holding Tsungrai's ashes with Soothing Memories (which heals for about 120 health, and gives you back some energy). The worse cases should be healed with Mend Body And Soul (especially when they're also suffering from a condition). If someone's really in a bad state, cast Spirit Transfer and he'll be fine again. If someone's suffering from a condition use Resilient Weapon. It'll give that person +10 health regen or something, and some armor. If someone's bleeding, this spell is really awesome to use.
When you didn't already have Resilient Weapon on someone, and he's being attacked, cast Vengeful Weapon on him. It steals health from the person attacking him, and it's a spell you can easily spam because it recharges quickly and only uses 5 energy.
Now comes the part I like best. When your walking around alone, or some Kurzicks are attacking you because you're healer, let them attack you for a few hits. Then drop Tsungrai's ashes, and if you've done it at the right time, you'll be fully healed again. Now cast Vengeful Was Khanhei and Vengeful Weapon. You can cast Soothing Memories while Vengeful Weapon recharges, and then cast Vengeful Weapon again. Smart Kurzicks will have ran away by now (or will be like.. dead), but sometimes they just don't get it. When your VwK runs out, cast Generous Was Tsungrai again. Keep spamming Vengeful Weapon and keep healing yourself untill VwK recharges. Just continue like this. They will either run away or kill themselves.
I really like it because I always felt bad when Kurzicks killed my Elementalist 4 vs 1. You won't be able to stand out against a party with 3 eles, but if you encounter Assassins, Dervishes, Warriors or Rangers, you'll be ok. I think Elementalists are the things you should watch out for most.
Once, I was using this build, and I was all alone and I came across a group of Kurzicks who started attacking me. But soon they realized they were the ones getting hurt, so they stopped and ran away. So I followed them, and it annoyed them and they stopped to attack me again. But they couldnt kill me - again. So I've been following them untill they ran to a shrine with Kurz NPC's on it, so I had to stop. But you can imagine how fun it can be to play around like that.
Just remember to cast Life everytime your party stops somewhere to cap or fight. It's level 11, so you'll be ok. Watch out for AoE spells from ele's, because that will kill your spirit in no time. Your spirit is not the crucial thing in this build, but you'd better cast it.
The end.
